We will be having our annual Terry Fox Run this week (Monday Oct 19^th through Thursday Oct 22^nd) on our own school track. Teachers will walk and/or run on the track as weather and time permits for them. 

This is the 40^th anniversary year for the Terry Fox run and Albert McMahon staff and students have supported this cause for more than 25 years.

The terryfox.org website contains plentiful information about Terry Fox, his mission and his legacy as a Canadian hero.

If you would like to share information about Terry Fox at home as a family, there are some activity sheets for kids available online.

Each year we collect donations for cancer research and ask that students bring a loonie or twoonie.  Donations will be collected in classrooms and stored/counted in a safe and timely manner.  With Covid-19 protocols, families also have the option of donating online at the Terry Fox.org website.  Please click on the following link for Albert McMahon's donation page:
