We offer a variety of extra-curricular sports for the students to participate throughout the school year. This year we are offering basketball, cross country, volleyball and track and field. For basketball and volleyball, district leagues are organized and students have the opportunity to compete with teams from other schools in our district. Coaching is provided by volunteers (teachers and parents). For parents who have the time and the interest, this is a wonderful way to make a contribution to our school.

There are student vs. teacher matches scheduled in volleyball and basketball. These friendly competitions enhance the relationships between students and staff and help to promote school spirit.

In April and May, track and field is the focus. Students in grades 4 to 6 who are interested, have the opportunity to compete in the district elementary track and field meet in May.

Encourage your child to participate in these wonderful sports opportunities. At Albert McMahon we take pride in the level of participation, sportsmanship and skill demonstrated by our athletes.
